Does Ultherapy hurt?
According to patient reports, there is some pain associated with ultherapy. This makes sense, since enough energy is being delivered to induce the body to start remodeling and repairing. The pain levels are tolerable by most patients and go away at the end of the procedure.
How long does the procedure take? When can I return to work?
Ultherapy requires a single visit, lasting about two hours. You can return to work the next day. Most of the time, there are minimal to no external marks. The results will develop over the course of two-three months and some patients have reported continued improvement for up to six months, including lifting and tightening of the skin on the neck, under the chin, along the jawline, and on the brow. While ultrasound does not duplicate the results of surgery, Ultherapy has proven to be an inviting alternative for those who are not yet ready for surgery.
