In her awake/asleep staged technique for maximum effectiveness and safety, the lipo and fat graft is done under local anesthesia 1-2 months before the tummy tuck. Then the tummy tuck is performed as a separate and shorter procedure, rendering large differences possible in a staged 2 procedure fashion.
