Confidence in tight fitting clothing and/or bathing suits often motivates women with small to medium pouches to explore tummy tucks. These post-partum pouches reflect a failure of skin’s retraction ability to completely reverse the unneeded skin. A tummy tuck removes that skin surgically and provides an opportunity to tighten the muscles. The scar is the downside (shown below), but can be hidden well under most clothing. this picture is at 5 months, further scar fading is to be expected.
