orbit fracture repair
Dr. Khalifeh's preferred approach for fixing orbital floor defects is the transconjunctival approach.
case: notice significant enophthalmos, or recession of the right eyeball into the maxillary sinus in this young woman who presented to the emergency room after a fall.

A ct scan obtained showed a significant orbital floor defect.

Dr. Khalifeh took the patient to the operating room. From a transconjunctival (thru the inner lid) approach, he lifted the contents of the orbit back into position and secured them with an artificial medpore plate with a small screw. here, the patient is featured at four weeks.
